Traducciones América and/or any of its subsidiaries and/or affiliates (hereinafter “TRADUCCIONES AMÉRICA”), with its address at Vicente Guerrero 150, Centro, 59300 La Piedad de Cabadas, Michoacán, and the internet portal https://www.traduccionesamerica.com.mx/, in compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (hereinafter the “Law”), and to ensure the privacy and right to informational self-determination of its clients and users, hereby informs you of its current privacy policy and personal data management practices.

Collection of Personal Data

In providing services related to its commercial purpose, Traducciones América collects and uses your personal data for the following purposes:

a) To provide the data subject with the services they have requested. b) To address your needs regarding the services we offer. c) To prepare instruments (acts, policies, or contracts) to formalize the commercial legal acts or facts that take place. d) To comply with legal obligations before the competent authorities that require it; for example, federal authorities, tax authorities, public registries, and even judicial authorities. e) To carry out the corresponding billing for the services rendered, perform collections, process payments, and maintain a client database to identify them. f) To provide you with information. g) To create your physical and/or electronic file. h) To process your data internally. i) In general, to provide the services you have requested, inform you about changes to them, and evaluate the quality of the service we provide.

Where We Obtain Your Personal Data

To carry out the aforementioned purposes, we may collect your data in different ways: i) During the registration process, ii) Provided directly by the client, iii) When you send them via online services, and iv) From other sources permitted by law, such as telephone directories, websites. The data we obtain through these means may include, among others: Phone number; Address; Federal Taxpayer Registry; Sensitive information and documentation that may or may not include data from the individual, as well as from third parties related to the individual; in accordance with the provisions of paragraph IV of Article 8 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

The data we obtain are as follows:

A) For individuals, we collect the following information:

  • Full name.
  • Place and date of birth.
  • Nationality.
  • Address.
  • Occupation.
  • Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC).
  • Email address and phone number.

B) For legal entities, we collect the following information:

  • Corporate name or business name.
  • Address of the legal entity.
  • Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC).
  • Financial or asset data.
  • Email address and phone number.

Depending on the service provided, act or business requested, and what is required, additional information and documentation will be treated responsibly and confidentially.

Documentation and Sensitive Data

  1. Traducciones América will collect and process private and/or sensitive documentation necessary or convenient for the purposes of providing the requested services. All sensitive information collected in any format or presentation will be maintained and treated with strict security and confidentiality for purposes related to the provision of Professional Translation, Interpretation, Writing, and Editing services, in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable legislation, regulations, and standards. We commit to handling this data under the strictest security measures to ensure its confidentiality.

  2. Upon completing the tasks stipulated within its commercial purpose, Traducciones América commits to destroying and eliminating any physical and/or digital copies of all documentation and/or sensitive information collected during the provision of the stipulated services. Traducciones América will not retain, disclose, transfer, or alter any document or private information of the individual and/or related third parties used as part of the services provided, except with the express request and authorization from the individual and/or the Competent Authorities.

  3. The use stipulated within the framework of the services provided by Traducciones América of any document or sensitive information by the company and/or any of its subsidiaries and/or associates will be subject to the rules established by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and the provisions requested and stipulated by the data subject.

To protect personal data held by third parties, if there is no prior written consent from the client (applicant) in the form of a service provision contract, purchase order, written request (signed by the Manager or Department Head), or any other document that supports it, Traducciones América must withdraw from publication and from unauthorized third parties all intellectual property of Traducciones América that contains sensitive information or derived from the client or applicant to protect their personal data.

Internet Portal

  1. Browsing our internet portal does not require the disclosure of any personal data; however, certain data may be provided voluntarily when using the service in our contact form: When you contact us through the contact form on our website, you will be asked to provide: Name, email address, subject, and the service information you are requesting.

  2. The information will be used solely to respond to messages or inquiries you send us requesting information about Traducciones América, our services, any questions, and job applications.

  3. Any request for access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition to your personal data can be addressed to our Central Offices, either personally at our offices located at Vicente Guerrero 150, Centro, 59300 La Piedad de Cabadas, Michoacán, or by email at atencion-clientes@traduccionesamerica.com.mx.
